Minimal qualifications include:
A bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent
3-10 years of complex software engineering experience in progressively challenging roles including proven skill sets in server and client side programming and best practices
(Optional) Certifications in Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Big Data, Python.

Discover insights from large data set to discover trends and patterns.
Apply data mining techniques, and statistical analysis to build high quality prediction systems
Automate machine learning techniques like scoring, fraud detection and etc..
Improve and extend the features used in the existing analytics systems.
Select and build classifiers using machine learning techniques
Enhance data collection procedures that builds analytics systems.
Identify valuable data sources and automate collection processes
Ensure data integrity by processing, cleansing and verifying of data used for analysis.
Constantly track the performance of data and ML models.
Undertake pre-processing of structured and unstructured data
Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
Present information using data visualization and presentation techniques
Working experience in machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.
Expertise in R, Python, Weka, NumPy, MatLab, etc.,
Great communication skills
Experience with data visualization tools, such as D3.js, Tableau, PowerBI, GGplot, etc.
Hands on experience in using query such as SQL, Hive, Pig and similar systems
Hands on Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase
Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
Good scripting and programming skills including Python and/or R.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Bachelor / Master of Engineering or relevant field;
Graduate degree / Diploma / Certifications in Data Science or another quantitative field is preferred
