The Interactive Media Group (IMG) provides the media and graphics foundation across all of Apple's innovative products, including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, HomePod, and Mac OS. Combining ground breaking software techniques with next-generation hardware, IMG takes the media experience to the next level. The Connected Media team within IMG is seeking an experienced C/C++ developer to join us to help develop the future of our products. We are the team that develops AirPlay and its related technologies for use in all of Apples products. You are experienced in bug triaging/screening, bug management and automation.
You have programming skills/tools in Unix/Linux,shell scripting, java scripting, JIRA or any bug tracking tool
You have strong analytical abilities and debugging skills.
You have strong communication and reporting skills.
You have the ability to work in dynamic and meaningful environment.
You are experienced in working with embedded devices is a plus.
You have experience in video streaming applications usage/testing is a plus.
You have experience with Machine Learning tools and algorithms is a plus.
We are seeking an individual with a consistent track record of bug triaging and bug screening. You will be working with elite core development teams and supporting bug triaging, bug screening, bug classification and scripting to automate large volume bugs. As a screener, you will triage large volume of bugs on daily basis to filter clearly actionable ones to internal teams. Help with automating bug triage process.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
