We are the Spark AR team building Spark AR Studio. The apps and content created via Spark AR Studio not only work with mobile AR today but will carry over to AR glasses of the future and our mission is to give people the power to perceive and augment the world in any way imaginable. Were looking for a talented Engineering Manager to join our team. As an Engineering Manager on the Spark AR team, you'll be working on the foundational tooling to enable AR experiences across the Facebook family of apps.

  • Be both a highly technical, hands-on coder and an effective people manager
  • Communicate across functions and drive engineering initiatives
  • Participate in technical design
  • Define and influence product strategy

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven hands-on technical management
  • Exceptional coding skills in one of the following: .Net, Javascript or Front-end languages
  • Demonstrated ability to manage technical teams
  • BS / MS in Computer Science (In lieu of degree, relevant work experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of tooling for graphics applications or workflows for publishing user generated content
  • Experience scaling teams
  • Experience with augmented reality
