Responsibilities: Leverage design skills to build complete suite of user-oriented dashboards and meaningful, actionable data visualizations to meet the needs of the organizationOwn the development of operational dashboards, ad-hoc reports, cubes and self-service report solutions that are clear, concise, and actionablePresent all data insights and findings in succinct and creative ways using data visualizations for a broad audience, including all levels of leadership, technology, business and financePerform deep-dive analyses to answer complex questions and deliver insights on the root causes of issues and make recommendations on how to best monitor and meet themProvide support and training to end-users on reporting tools, dashboards and reports.Lead discussions on analytics and interpretation of resultsMeet cross-functional technical and non-technical teams to understand data needs, define user stories & problem statements, collect data, document schemas & report requirements, and write specificationsUse various tools, applications, and/or queries to create and configure reports and dashboardsPull data from numerous internal/external data sourcesValidate, monitor, test and fix data issues to ensure data accuracy and quality.Work with data infrastructure, systems, architecture, tooling and process teams to triage data-quality issues and drive long term improvementPerform modifications and enhancements on existing reports based on evolving business needs and requirements.Become an expert in comprehensive processes spanning multiple functions and datasets, digging into the details through focus groups and stakeholder feedback to summarize context, problems, and solutions
Minimum Qualification Bachelor's degree in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics)5+ years' experience working in analytics and data visualization3+ years of Tableau and Power BI experiencesAdvanced SQL skills to perform data segmentation and aggregation from scratch using multiple databases such as Oracle, Teradata and Big Data TechnologiesPractice and patience with unclean data with the follow-through to fix it long termExpert level dashboard design and development skillsExpert knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent data visualization and reporting/data manipulation toolAbility to tune performance of dashboards/reports and provide best practice training to end-usersAbility to work in a fast-paced development environment under tight schedulesDemonstrated critical-thinking, problem-solving, and goal-setting skillsManage and drive analytical projects end to endAbility to multi-task across projects, stay organized and manage prioritiesStrong proficiency in different SDLC and Agile methodologiesExperience with presenting recommendations to broad audiences with business outcomes as result of influence
